LEILA LOPES – WIFE OF OSI UMENYIORA

Leila Lopes is an actress, TV host, model, and beauty queen. She is a titleholder of different beauty pageants, like Miss Angola UK 2010, Miss Angola 2010, and Miss Universe 2011. In February 2013, the former Miss Universe got engaged to former New York Giants defensive player, Osi Umenyiora, in one of their vacations in Monaco. Though the engagement stretched for two years, the couple finally tied the knot on May 30, 2015. Leila gave birth to their son in 2019.

The couple swapped their glamorous lives as a Hollywood personality and NFL defensive to put their investments on music. They built their own music office and launched the one-of-a-kind music label, called The Uprise. They were inspired by their love of Baile Funk music from Brazil. Although it was a big hit in the country, it was not known in every part of the world, and they wanted to introduce it to everyone.
