American singer, songwriter, and musician Bruce Springsteen is one of the 35 best-selling artists of all time, having sold more than 135 million albums worldwide and earning an average of $80 million a year during his tours. His big break came after he released the album Born to Run. It took him 14 months to complete the entire album, with six months spent writing the song “Born to Run”, which immediately became a worldwide hit. After a lengthy legal battle with his ex-manager, Mike Appel, which cost him millions of dollars in attorney’s fees, Springsteen went on a cross-country tour to promote his album Darkness on the Edge of the Town.

His 1980 album The River took the #1 spot in that year’s Billboard 200 charts. To this day, after releasing his 19th album in 2019, Bruce Springsteen is still quite passionate about music. In fact, despite the inconveniences caused by COVID-19, the musician still pushed through with his concert, though audiences only watched via livestream.
