TOM SELLECK – FERRARI 308 – $250,000

Tom Selleck used to drive a 1984 308 GTS in his hit iconic series, Magnum, P.I. However, the famed actor later put the car on sale at Bonhams’ U.S. auction at Scottsdale. According to sources, it reportedly had a price of more than what an open-top V8 Ferrari usually cost. Driven by Selleck and used in a hit program, fans expected it to reach a price of up to $250,000 or £200,000. No one expected it to be a cheap investment, after all.

The stunning car was two and a half folds pricier than the usual $100,000 or £80,000 value of an excellent-working Ferrari 308 GTS. According to Bonhams, production used the vehicle for slow-moving action scenes of the show and close-up filming in 1984 and 1985. They might have spent a lot of gas then, but it was all worth it with the show’s success! However, for those who love super fast cars and consider themselves a fan of Tom Selleck, it was a sure win for them.
