DAVID MUIR – $7 MILLION, SKANEATELES LAKE

David Muir did careful investment planning after purchasing his home on Skaneateles Lake for $7 million. The deed showed the property was sold from one limited liability company to another, revealing the journalist signed a $3.5-million mortgage as one of the companies’ managers. The document also noted the estate was ABC World News Tonight anchor’s second home, and he bought it to save a historic home. The house was built in 1890 and previously owned by Carol and Michael Parker.

The house in question has 4,300 square feet of living space, lying on six acres of land. It comes with six beds, three baths, two kitchens, and a number of fireplaces across the place. The property is just next door to the most expensive mansion in Onondaga County, which was the Lakelawn Mansion that was sold for $11 million in 2018.
